January 15, 2010. This is the day I will always remember. This was the day I said good-bye to what the world considered beautiful for black women, and conformed to what black beauty was really about. Yes. I cut off the straight hair and went to being what most described as being "Nappy". yes mam...NAPPY AND PROUD.
